This is Shimomoto Kunishige-san's house, the guy who I've talked to most in this village all these years. I always wanted to get a snow shot of it, and here it is!! Well, I guess the snow-covered tea bushes kind of steal the show . . .









Oh this is a little statue along the road on the way to Kunishige's house. These stone talismans are meant to protect the traveller from danger along the way. Protect me please!!
