Note from Alicja

I wanted to upload few hotos, but due to internal error on google it didn`t work. So lets try another way. Here are some photos from november, zipped and ready to download.

Besides that...

Kalina smiles! And sleeps, nurses, sleeps and nurses, sleeps, then nurses, and then she sleeps while nursing, for a change. She hardly ever cries if not overtired (that happens, unfortunatelly, if I try to entertain Maya and go to the park, for example). She`s now busy mostly growing her cheeks, but I can`t wait to see what kind of person is she. :)

Maya is doing great in every way. She starts speaking in phrases in three languages. Exploding with words. She speaks japanese to Japanese, polish to me and english to Michael and our english-speaking friends. She just knows which langaue should she use to be understood.
She counts to 10 (english and polish) and says alphabet. Sometimes she`ll even try to sing it. She loves people and play with other children, and after 2-3 days at home she`ll run to the car to go somewhere. At two and a bit she`s fully potty trained, has no alergies, eats variety of foods (although has some favorites and "won`t even try"). She runs, jumps and dances all days long, builds and destroys towers from blocks, makes and flies airplanes and has her own opinion about what she`s gonna wear, which shoe goes on which foot, where she`s gonna eat, and many others. Simply, she`s two! :)

And I don`t feel lost any more, at least not all the time. The transition frome one to two babies is/was huge. We`re still on the way, I guess, but it`s getting better and easier. Girls are nursing happily, Maya isn`t so jelaous, she whines some less than before, plays by herself sometimes, and days go by almost smoothly now. Although sometimes (like now) Maya tries rock Kalina to death at the rocking chair. She also likes to roll on her (I guess she means hugging). Siblings love already?
Kalina is a "please, hold me" kind of baby, so during the day she`s in a ring sling or in MT on my back, I take her out for nursing, diapers, photos, car ride and sometimes when she`s deep asleep and I hope she`ll stay asleep for a while on a couch (works once in few days, usually she wakes up after 3-10min). I guess she would like a swing or a bouncy seat, but we have no such devices and no space for them at home. So I just carry her when she wants and hope she`ll be mobile soon (Maya was crawling at 7 mos, maybe they will be alike at least here!). I even ordered a new wrap type of carrier and can`t wait for it to come. :) Besides that she`s really a sleeping baby, at 8 weeks old she sleeps like more than 20h a day!
My father came from Poland with my niece and they stayed with us for more than 2 weeks. Hope share the pictures from his visit here soon. :)
